Info zur Skulptur "Divine Mercy Ars Woodcarved statue"

The worship of Divine Mercy goes back to the mystical experiences of the Polish nun Faustyna Kowalska (1905-1938), who was canonized in 2000. Jesus revealed himself to her as "King of Mercy"or "Divine Mercy" and wished her to spread devotion to Divine Mercy all over the world. The messages are written in the Nurse's diary. In addition, a picture of the merciful Jesus was shown according to Sr. Faustynas painted, which is revered all over the world today. The Rosary of Mercy, the devotion to the hour of Mercy and the novena to Divine Mercy are now an integral part of popular Catholic devotion.
This statue is carved in maple wood up to the size 45cm, larger statues are hand carved in linden wood for the finishings natural, colored and stained. The antique and Gold Leaf 23 carat versions are polished. The picture in colored shows a hand carved Merciful Jesus.
