St. Ambrose was born in 339 in Trier, Germany, and died in 397 in Milan. The legend has it, that he was a very soft Saint, who loved animals. And he was fond of learning. St. Ambrose is the Patron Saint of Milan and of Bologna, of beekeepers and chandlers, (over the centuries and until today candles have been made out of bee wax). Ambrose protects all pets and the Scholars. His attribute is the beehive. Amrose has said, learn of the bees. Und who is diligent, as the bees are, can only be successful.
